Founder | Financial Adviser
Blake Barbosa is a committed CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ who works with successful professionals, pre-retirees and retirees. He helps to identify their financial objectives and provide clarity on how to optimize their financial opportunities to achieve their goals.
Blake believes that most people can have a comfortable lifestyle, “dream retirement” and peace of mind if they take the time to understand their current financial situation and implement steps to optimize their results. This is accomplished through a holistic financial planning approach that is customized to each individual client.

Blake has been in the financial services industry since 2013. He attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Blake continued his professional education at Bryant University where he studied the CERTIFED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation curriculum. He later completed the “Retirement Income Certified Professional” (RICP®) and “Wealth Management Certified Professional” (WMCP®) designation programs offered through The American College of Financial Services.
Blake is an active member of several industry groups, including The Financial Planning Association, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and is a board member of the Bristol County Estate Planning Council.
Blake enjoys volunteering his time as a Big Brother with the Big Brother Big Sister of Massachusetts Bay organization.
Blake lives in Dartmouth, MA with his wife Lindsey and their daughter Tenley. During his time off, Blake enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and playing golf.
DAN MARSHALL
PARAPLANNER
Daniel Marshall joined the team in 2024 and will be assuming the role of Paraplanner.
Dan’s background includes client service at Fidelity Investments processing Transfer of Assets transactions, and at SS&C Technologies Inc., a leading financial services and healthcare technology company where he provided operational support to both internal and external clients.
Dan attained his Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH and is presently continuing his education at Bryant University.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dan serves as the Director of Sacred Music and as the organist for St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in New Bedford, MA. In his free time, Dan enjoys tending to his yard and cooking delicious meals for his family.
Adelaide McIntire
Paraplanner
Adelaide is the paraplanner for Guided Wealth, LLC. Adelaide has over 25 years of experience in providing support through the financial planning process and manages the financial planning workflow. She assists with the administrative establishment and maintenance of investments accounts.
Adelaide provides liaison support between the client and the advisor. She is the go-to person for any questions regarding servicing client accounts and financial plans.
Since 2003, Adelaide has maintained the prestigious marks of a Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ designation from the College for Financial Planning®—a Kaplan Company (CFFP).
Adelaide was born in France and relocated to the United States in 1989. She attended Elms College in Chicopee, MA where she earned a bachelor’s degree of Liberal Arts in Marketing with a Minor in Art in 1995. Adelaide is fluent in French and English.
Adelaide lives in New Bedford, MA and has a son, Eric. When she is not working, she enjoys painting, drawing, traveling, cooking, and dancing.
Debbie Moreau
Client Service Specialist and Office Manager
Debbie is the Client Service Specialist and Office Manager for Guided Wealth, LLC. She brings over 33 years of administrative experience in client service and office management.
Delivering outstanding customer service has always been an essential part of a day’s work for Debbie. In addition to maintaining a smooth office operation, Debbie provides clients with policy services, schedules appointments, processes applications for insurance and annuity products and performs other administrative tasks. Debbie is also a notary public.
Debbie lives in New Bedford with her husband Ken. She has two children and three grandchildren. Debbie enjoys traveling every year to visit her family in Knoxville, Tennessee. When Debbie’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and going for walks.
Sue Scanlon
Director of Operations and Client Engagement
Sue Scanlon recently came out of retirement to serve as Director of Operations and Client Engagement for Guided Wealth, LLC.
In this capacity, Sue helps oversee the daily activities of Guided Wealth, LLC to track efficiency and follow-through on our client commitments.
Sue honed her technical expertise and effective time-management skills as a Software Engineer and Project Manager over the past 30+ years. She lives with her partner Joe Carmichael in Rehoboth. In her spare time, Sue enjoys cooking, gardening, and especially spending time with her family and friends.
